Fried Pickle Chips
This vegetarian southern specialty features fresh sliced homemade pickles coated in our house batter and deep fried until crispy. Served hot, we recommend dipping them in roasted garlic aioli for a creamy cool-down.
Pimento Cheese Fritters
Our homemade pimento cheese spread is hand-formed and rolled in breadcrumbs, then deep fried for a satisfying crunch that gives way to a creamy cheese and pimento filling. Topped with homemade tomato jam and served with roasted garlic aioli, it’s the perfect vegetarian snack.

For lunch or dinner, you can’t go wrong with a salad. This one features chopped hearts of romaine along with smoky bacon crumbles, flavorful tomatoes, red peppers, red onion, and corn, plus cool avocado and sharp bleu cheese. It’s all lightly tossed in our house blended red wine vinaigrette.
Cobb Salad
McCray’s classic Cobb Salad is overflowing with chopped lettuce, chopped egg, savory bacon crumbles, fresh tomato, rich avocado, and bleu cheese. Choose from a selection of homemade salad dressings to make this one your own.
Gulf Shrimp and Grits
McCray’s Tavern southern shrimp and grits are great if you’re gluten-free, with plump, tender Gulf coast shrimp atop creamy corn grits. We finish it with our house tasso ham, spicy andouille sausage, pickled sweet peppers, and a tomato bourbon gravy that’s out of this world.
